@jaredpalmer You can combine shift, option, & command to speed up all Mac/iOS text editing! Cmd is the extreme points: cmd-up will go to the top of the doc. Option is for words: jump 1 word left/right. Shift selects during the operation, so shift-cmd-left selects the current line.
