And that’s okay. Iteration is always, always needed. But perspective is key.

We need to keep pushing the envelope on all of digital communication, but this is not (yet!) an improvement.

We’re highlighting the latest and greatest in tech instead of an interface that’s fundamentally better for users.

If this tech was instead built into Siri, or the Echo, it’d totally make sense. You can speak an idea faster than typing a description.

The natural language and AI behind bots is great, but texting is the wrong way to consume it.

If I want to know the weather, texting is crazy slow. Opening an app is less thought, faster, and provides me a lot more data.
